Muscat – A 12 year old Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK) student , Basil George of class 7 fell from a residential building on Sunday. Local authorities were alerted to the scene in the early hours of the morning after the young person was found unresponsive on the premises of the apartment complex.

Emergency services arrived at the location promptly, but despite their efforts, the student was pronounced dead. Preliminary reports suggest that the individual fell from one of the upper floors of the building where they resided with their family.

Authorities have initiated a formal investigation to determine the specific circumstances surrounding the fall. While the cause of the incident remains under review, officials are working closely with the family to provide support during this difficult time. School authorities have expressed their deepest condolences, describing the student as a valued member of the academic community. Formal arrangements for the final rites are expected to be coordinated once the necessary legal procedures are completed.
