Muscat – A new Assouline travel title celebrating Oman’s heritage, culture and landscapes was launched in London on November 24 as part of National Day events held by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.
Titled Oman Odyssey, the book forms part of Assouline’s global travel series and presents an exploration of the country’s history, traditions and natural settings through narrative and photography. The ministries said the publication aims to deepen international understanding of Oman’s cultural significance and geographic diversity.
The launch took place at Maison Assouline, the publisher’s flagship space in London. The private event featured Omani hospitality and drew guests from cultural, media and publishing circles.
The book is available for pre-order and will soon be sold online and at major retail outlets worldwide.
