Musannah – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested an individual in a significant narcotics operation in South Batinah. In a coordinated effort, the Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, targeted a person in Musannah, leading to the seizure of a substantial quantity of illegal narcotics.
The individual, identified by authorities as an Asian national, was found in possession of various types of illicit substances. Investigations conducted by the South Batinah Police Command indicate that the contraband was intended for both trafficking and personal consumption. Following the arrest, the seized materials were catalogued as evidence, and the police confirmed that all necessary legal proceedings are currently being finalised against the person in custody.
