The single previously surpassed the run of Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves,” which ran up 91 weeks between 2021-22, for the most time spent on the chart.
“Lose Control” debuted at number 99 on the chart in August 2023.
It spent one week at number 1 in March 2024 and became the year’s number one song.
